Hi guys which or3 Led bar do you prefer between Sky blue and blue plus for sps corals?

in your opinion, could it be possible to light a full sps reef with only orphek bars? Only or3 Led bars is better than only orphek icon?

Do a mix of both. Probably 4+ and I wouldn't say better than icon, no control and less spectrum. Definitely cab grow sps though

For My reef tank 48”x22”x22” i could use 5x or3 Led bars or 2x orphek icon compact. the bar-only option is much less expensive.

Compacts aren't enough alone. You could try 5.

More coverage at least. I'd try to do the same price worth as 2 icons honestly. You'd get better coverage.

My 90 gallon 48×18×24 uses 2 compacts and 4 strips. The icons alone just don't cover enough for me.

More compacts and power wise. But yes. And they are getting close with the controller for them.

The bars worked well but I wanted full coverage with multi colors

It matters how big your tank is. But take a look at this video if you want more info on bars

Blanket the tank when possible. Get the longest ones you can without spilling beyond the tank footprint. I’d rather have a little extra light thrown outside the tank, if it means brighter ends, but not to the point the luminaire is larger than the tank
