Only two small fish in 33g tank

So I just ordered a pair of candy basslets and my plan for a couple of years is to have a small showcase tank with just those fish and some euphyllia, zoas, and mayyybe a couple of easy montys.

But my question is would those two fish be ok being the only inhabitants? And I mean in terms of bioload. My concern is that that there might not be enough of a bioload and that I might be always fighting zero nutrients. Thoughts?

Low bioload is ok for small reefs tanks. With the trend of over stocking, you're being more modest than most. Hell, in my wife's 15g we have 5 small(er) fish. For now. I won't let her get more. And of course the nutrients are sky high. We feed every other day, and do monthly water changes of 5 gallons which in her tank is closer to 45%50% than 30%.

So if your worried about low nutrients do monthly water changes and adjust from there based on the test kits...
