Open brain

I placed an open brain in my tank several weeks ago. It looks like it's doing great until recently. Sweepers every night, I feed once a week, and it's in medium light under t5 and in low/medium flow.

The outer edge started turning white in a small section. Initially I was worried, but then it turned green. Now, it looks like the entire edge is turning white. Is it growing? Or is it stressed?

Calcium is 420 alk is a little high right now, 12, 1ppm nitrate. Don't know magnesium

Nothing is irritating it
