Opinions on the Sicce Sdc pumps?

I’m deciding on getting the Sicce Sdc 6.0 or 7.0. What are your reviews on them? Are they reliable pumps? What is your experience with them. The WiFi controllability is what’s luring me in to get these pumps

Love both of mine. One is a 3.0 and the other one is a 6.0. Love the control /adjustment and variable flow patterns to work with/compliment my ecotech mp's

I’ve been running my sdc 6 for the past year no issues at all. It’s my first one, but im happy with its performance and I like the app so I would recommend it.

I like the ones I have couple 3.0 and 7.0. I have had to reset them a couple times to reconnect to WiFi

I have a 9.0 on a 135 and run it at 18% so I think a 7.0 would be fine. I like wiggle room so I can be more future proof if you will

I have a 9.0 and run it at 6% lol cause it made my waterbox loud. But it’s awesome pump. Has the smart sensor to temp monitor

The Sicce SDC have been great pumps for me. I’ve been running a 6.0 on my IM Ext 100 for over 3 years and a 9.0 on my waterbox 230 for 6 months. The WiFi setup is easy and it also supports IOTA for control from Apex. I would say get the 7.0 if the price point isn’t that much more and then you can run it at a much lower speed where it will be quieter and maybe last longer. I run my sdc 6.0 at 70% for 10x turnover and it is very quiet.

they are AWESOME. 5 year warranty- app always works. Tells you your temp.

I’m getting the 7.0 for my 83g. I currently have the 3.0 and it’s been flawless.

I ran a 3.0 on a smaller tank and liked it. Ended up switching to something else purely because of additional flow requirements.

I can say that their Ultra Zero pump is the best investment I've made for a water change... Makes life so much easier imo.

What sort of head? I have maybe 10 vertical feet, plus tubing loses, but also don’t need much turnover. 2x is plenty for my 120. I was looking at the head/flow charts and was focussing on the 9, but maybe the 7 is enough.

It went up about 2 feet vertical, then 6 feet horizontal, and then 2.5 more feet vertical. I used 90s for all the turns.

account 6” for a 45 degree. a foot for 90. The 7.0 can handle 16.5 I believe. I going for a 7 in case I decide on a bigger tank than 85g in the future. Who knows how it will be plumbed

Think you’d be fine with the 7. I have the 9 on my 240 w/basement sump. So up about 12’ and then split into 2 returns and then 4 loctites on each return for a total of 8. Mines been running almost 5 years now. Haven’t done a thing to it.
