Does anyone have thoughts or opinions on the Waterbox 25 AIO? I'm thinking about getting one. Has anyone dealt with Waterbox Canada. I don't seem to be able to reach them by phone.

I’d skip the all in ones if you can . You’ll end up upgrading anyways . Get something with a sump . Get the biggest tank you can afford . You’ll end up saving money . I generally use the all in one as a secondary to play around with but it still end up costing the same as I spend ridiculous amount of dough on it

Thanks very much for your reply. We have an IM 75EXT for the main tank . Would have gone bigger but very limited space. The first two fish in the tank were a pair of fire fish. (Frick and Frack). They got along great and slept in the same hole in the rocks . We hoped they were a mated pair. About three months in one was way bigger than the other and started beating up on the smaller one which has been in an acclimation box for a week. We are cycling the 20 gallon QT tank to house him temporarily until we can get a small tank going.

If you're going with the Waterbox with their stand, I would pass. The Innovative Marine APS stand is head and shoulders above. Not sure what size you'd have to get for the APS, maybe 40 gallon. IM 20 gallons are cheap right now.

I like my 25g waterbox. It's right sized for easy maintenance but can fit quite a bit in the AIO section. I find the narrative of "bigger is better" isn't always true. I love the aesthetic look of a small tank though I do agree there's not much cost-savings.

If I could do it again, I'd spend more and get a much nicer 25g acrylic tank, but I don't know of any recommendations

Thanks for your reply . We ended up going with a Fluval Flex 32.5 that we found at an LFS going out of business
sale . Got a smokin' good deal on it.

Thanks for your reply . We ended up going with a Fluval Flex 32.5 . I see what you mean about the size of the AIO
section . This one is pretty tight . We've got a small Tunze skimmer for it and I think the heaters are going to have to go in the display part of the tank to fit the skimmer in . The tank is just finishing cycling now .

Just mess around with placement and you’ll find room. It took awhile to fit everything well
