Just got my sunburst nem in today. Here is a picture of it in the bag. Need opinions on how it looks.

Lmk thanks.

hard to tell due to pic quality :crossedlips:

It's really hard to tell with it in the bag. On first look, the anemone looks very stressed. From what I can see, the color looks pretty good. If it were me, I would not worry too much about it. The key would be seeing how the nem looks in the tank.

as seahorsekeeper stated looks pretty stressed from shipping but the color looks good so should come through alright

How do I get it off the bag without hurting its foot? I cut around it and it's stuck to the side

you could use something not sharp maybe credit card and slowly tease his foot off just don't tear it even tho it's a bit stressed looking it has some pretty colors when it puffs up gonna be beautiful be sure & post a pic when it settles in

You can rub ice on the other side of the bag to irritate it. That typically works.

I have just peeled mine off of the bag with my fingers. Be very gentle and go slow. It looks awesome! It seems to be fine for shipping. It is stressed but should be fine and puff up in a few days.

Thanks everyone for your help..... The nem is in the tank and moving around all over the place. But it did bubble up :) I will get pics tomorrow.

:clap2: Good to hear that it is bubbling up. I can't wait to see some pics once it settles in.

Alright guys..... Here it is about a week later. Of course it has decided the best spot for itself is the back of the tank :( is putting some flow on it the best way to get it to move again?
