Yes and somewhere underneath all that is a black ORA plug.
Got a piece today from Cherry Corals from your original Hollback! I'm happy to finally have a confirmed piece of the ORA Pearlberry! I hope it actually matches one of the 3 other pearlberries I have already!

In my continued search and buying every pearlberry I can find from every vendor or reefer I can, I acquired this lovely piece from @TopShelfAquatics and in my opinion this is the real deal.

Nice! Did you order one from Cherry Corals as well since @hollback confirmed he sold them a large chunk of his? He has his ORA plug still at the bottom of his pearlberry colony somewhere. About as confirmed as it gets.

Tank crashed in January, but this will be one of the corals to repopulate the upgrade.

ORA pearlberry. Mother colony has the ORA rubber plug encased in skeleton.

Hey guys I figured I would follow up with a progression shot of my PB I posted at the beginning of this thread. Most felt it may not be a genuine ORA PB. The guy I got it from was an old timer with many genuine ORA pieces. I really feel it should be genuine, but I can’t know for sure. Anyways I am really happy where it is now. (I been abusing it and have taken no less than 6 frags From it in the past few months, but I still like where it’s at.) check it out

Wow! I have no idea how to tell if anything is a genuine pearlberry or not, as I wonder if mine is as well. Wether yours is or not, it sure is beautiful!

Got a couple of mini colonies of this I’m going to list tomorrow. They are not totally colored up but they all came from that same mother colony.

I’ll give you guys a sneak peak:

Got my mini colony.
It survived the X-treme dip procedure very well and is doing great.
Very passionate packing and shipping!!!

Can you share who acquired the other colony of this Fairyberry?

I did. :) Not certain it's a pearlberry yet, hard to say. I have it next to my authentic ORA Pearlberry and it's pretty dang close but not sure 100% yet.

The thing is, it could be a legit PB even if it doesn't match mine. Rumor has it that there were multiple ORA PB that ORA sold as they had corals that were "nearly identical" that were also sold as a PB.
