Hello fellow reefers
I have a couple questions regarding wrasses. I currently have a 3" orange Back fairy wrasse in my 32g tank. My new 80g tank is all setup and cycled (seeding pods now). I was looking at give my wrasse a fellow buddy and I wanted to get some feedback. Here are some options I have been looking at:

Carpenter flasher male
Blue throat fairy
Lepord Wrasse

The lepord Wrasse would be added first to the new tank for about a week or so.

Tank dimensions 48" x 20" X 18"

Blue throat probably risky. This graphic is useful for fairies:

In an 80, an orange back would be the most aggressive I would attempt. A leopard should be fine, assuming you get a healthy one. Flashers can get picked on by fairies, but should be able to get away in an 80 with enough rock structure.

My orange shoulder is a jerk to any other fairy wrasse. I tried putting in the sump for 2 weeks, acclimation boxes, etc. He is fine with all other species. Here is what I have
Orange Shoulder
Melerenus
Black Leopard
Mystery Wrasse
McCosker Flasher Wrasse

To answer your question, I recommend the leopard wrasse.

Put in a bigger wrasse than the orange and he'll get checked. I added a orange back and solon at the same time into a tank with a larger Lubbocks. They stayed in an acclimation box for 3 days getting attacked by the Lubbocks which currently sits at the top of my wrasse hierarchy right now. I suspect the orange-back will take top wrasse spot once he outgrows the lubbocks. I'm putting 2 leopards now into QT so they're a month behind and I'm already questioning the aggression to this wimpy leopards
