Need some help reefers. Came home to this on my fish. What is it and what do I do? 8-9inch orange shoulder tang. What am I looking at?

Do you have any new additions to your tank? Anything wet that wasn’t QT’ed?

This^

Do you have any aggression in your tank? It could be that the fish got into a coral or rock and injured itself.

It doesn't necessarily look parasitic from what I can see.

At any rate a bath in acriflavine (Ruby Reef Rally) or methalyne blue would be a good place to start.
