Anyone here have any good or bad experiences getting skunks (probably orange, but pink possibly) to host in bulb anemones? I know everyone says Clarkiis are anemone ******, they'll host in any species, but how easy is it to get the skunks to host?

My skunks quickly hosted in a green bubble tip.

i had a pair of orange skunks take to bta's. I dont see you having any issues; just be patient if they dont take right away

Never had skunks myself, but from what I hear they will accept BTA's pretty easily/quickly.

I got my percs to take to a BTA by putting them in a small basket with the BTA. I made the basket out of egg crate and zip ties, then clamped it to the side of the tank. It took less than an hour for the nem to host them.

My same pair of pink skunks have now hosted a Condy, adhesive carpet, sebae malu and bubble tips. I find once they move to different anemone types they don’t go back to the other ones again. It’s like they keep upgrading themselves.

Our LFS has a group of them all hosting anemones.

Which one did they end up enjoying the best?

They have abandoned the BTA and are currently in a gigantea carpet. Maybe they will move to a ritteri or mertensii in the future. See if you can find the female. She is watching us. Lol
