I have spent hours trying to setup my ORCA.
I never get the Red or Blinking White Lights
I have tried unplugging , changing outlets, removing the app and replacing it.
It can’t find my device.
Unfortunately TUNZE support is lacking.
Has anyone else had similar issues trying to setup their ORCA. I’m about to return it.

I have two and they were really easy to set up for me.

I’m sure Roger will chime in.

I’m not saying this will help your specific issue, but have you watched the youtube video on it:

Roger helped me out.
It was the power cord was bad. He is sending me a new one.

How did you get in touch with Roger? I finally got mine on the tank after waiting months for my lid and I have the same issue - can't get the indicator light to turn on.

Thank you - I actually got it running, I think. The indicator light on mine appears to not work, so I thought it was a power issue. Instead, now I'm stumped by programming issues.....
Yeah, the programming for these things are junk. I have pumps that are lost to the app and cannot be factory reset, just installed another pump that is not reachable out of the box. Support is nowhere to be found.

I have two running. I did have one brick after an update and Roger sent a new one out ASAP. Programming isn't the greatest but I've found that I always struggle when using a new app and they usually get easier as I get familiar with them.

I found this particular video helpful.

Support is great. Tunze excels here. Also warranty, also excel. I would say Abyzz is probably the only other manufacture here with similar levels of support and warranty. But this is about Tunze, not Abyzz so sorry for the reference point.

With kudos aside, the app is horrible in my opinion. I believe I understand why due to the various ways to create special programming and sectors for flow control but it is counter intuitive. I guarentee you that most if not all first time users install the app, set it up, then go right to the time control slider, and start creating flow.

I will take some ownership of how I navigate the app but will stand firm that it is not very intuitive in my opinion. I feel time control, or scheduler how I view it, should be mother. Basics and additional settings are just that, knobs that fine tune or dial in control.

Oh - also frustrating that if you have two or more that there is no sync. That should have been available upon launch. Again, the thinking is sectors, or area of flow vs what to some may be seen as a given or common sense.

Tunze, I do not mean this negative - give me a small pass as I opened with how I feel the company sets the bar for quality, support, and warranty.

All the best.

I was able to get past the new pump connection issue and recovering both of the missing pumps by deleting my Tunze account and creating a new one. Should not have had to do that though, and the lack of response from Tunze Germany is insultingly bad.

I tend to agree with most of your thoughts. I don't find it at all friendly. Im not even trying to do anything fancy because I can't figure out how to do much. I just assumed it's because I'm not really good at learning new tech stuff. I set the start and end points along with the oscillating speeds and intensity and just have them sweeping back and forth at the same speed all day and night. I tried messing around with trying a chaotic flow and set them both up identically and one would spin up to 100% which was the max setting but the other would never go past 20%
