Orchid Dottyback! And thanks!

i added a purple fire fish to a six line wrasse, occ clown and yellow watchman goby. gets along fine with all the fish besides the yellow watchman. go figure.

That's cool. The OP was just asking about a firefish with an orchid dottyback combo. My biggest caution is these species are both notorious jumpers (wrasses,too). IMHO, even without ANY aggression his shallow, open 40G should be covered or choose different stock.
 
If the tank is completely covered, a firefish can be added to a tank with an orchid dottyback. If a tank is uncovered, then a firefish should not be added, regardless of tankmates.
 
oh yay! I love my orchid :) Him and the clown are best buds.

I do have this as a covering, I was hoping it will prevent most jumpers the back is still a little open but not a whole lot I can do there.
