Orphek or3

Looking to add the orphek OR3 to help my 2 hydra 26s light my 120 mixed reef. Ive been reading peoples posts saying that they have died after a year. Is this common? also i read on their site that running them at 50% widens the life span? is this automatic running at 50% straight out of the box? or is the dimmer needed ?

I've had my or3 bars for about 5 months now. Unless I have seriously misunderstood, there is no controller for or3 and no way to dim the lights.

EDIT: The or3 lights are automatically set at 50% to conserve the life, but no way to adjust up or down. I don't know how long the or3 life is though

There is the new osix, but its not available to everyone just yet
