So I've really been digging the SPS tank High Tide Aquariums has with the Orphek Atlanik v4. Watching a bunch of reviews has me wondering about led spacing compared to Radions n Hydras. I know the latter two are closely spaced but was wondering if one of you wouldn't mind measuring the spacing center to center. Am curious as one of these can light up a 2'x4' tank.

Thanks for the help

There is more spacing between diodes along the width of the fixture compared to the front to back. Spacing is 1.75" vs 1.5" measured between the mid point of each diode. See attached images.

When comparing single fixtures I think you will by far have the best spread with the Orphek. 4" wide for one fixture will be cutting it close though. If mounted high enough (say 14-18" off surface), it might be feasible, but only if there is little PAR demand on the very sides of the tank. Given that many tanks dont have rock or corals that extend to the edges, this might not be an issue.
Mine is mounted 22" over a shallow 2' x 3'and there is great PAR distribution and even a bit of spill over.

Hope that helps!
