I love the open corner look, nice planning

Thank you!
coffee in the morning.. and tea at night in front of the tank. yes, please! 1smile1

Thank you, or a nice red wine.

I like the natural light. You going to add any t5s or 100% domes?

Thank you, eventually I will add other lighting but only for night time viewing. The sun-domes are the equivalent of over 3000 watts of lighting.

Amazing tank! Glad to see you're wife is doing better, too.

Thank you!

What a great tank!

Thank you Rev!

Trying to decide what to do next.
More coral, yes this is a must have.
More fish? Yes, but what to add next?
Apex or Digital Aquatics RKE
Auto top off system – Tunze Osmolator or diy from autotopoff.com
Supplemental lighting- DIY, Reefbright, or some Par 38 bulbs

Other suggestions to do next?

Love the tank!

I have a tunze ato on one tank and a diy aquahub on another. If you can swing it, the tunze is worth the extra cost.

I have the Apex with a home built auto top off. When I got the Tunze, and first hooked it up to my topoff system I was shocked by how many times a day my RO kicked on/off -- Hundreds of times. My 400g display tank is indoors, but the filtration and refugium are located outside an in direct sunlight. So I evaporate 25+ gal a day when it's cold and rainy.

With the Apex I am able to monitor my topoff, as well as control it so that the float switch has to be on for 30 minutes before kicking on the RO. Now my RO cycles about 8-10 times a day.

Taking it one step further, I have the Apex monitoring my Kalk Reactor. And I found out that Kalk needs to be topped off much more frequently than it appears.

Your tank is just gorgeous, I absolutely love the natural light. Does the light cause a heat increase? I went with the apex and the osmolator from Tunze ansa must say the osmolator is my favorite piece of equipment. I would definitely recommend going with it.

I also noticed some white spots on some of your tangs. Are you having an ich outbreak? I hope not. Tangs are my favorite fish and I dream of the day I could have a system like yours. Glad to hear the wife is doing better. God Bless

Thank you! No added heat at all, tank temp 76.8 - 77.4 all year.

Not sure about the controller yet, but the Tunze seems like the item to buy.

No ich! my 7 inch sand cleaning goby was going crazy and created a sand storm.
