Most corals will come out after awhile. I have a toad stool that was closed up for 2 weeks and now he is doing great. I also have a gonipora that after the hermit crab decided that crawling up and down it all day was a good idea was closed for about 4 or 5 days and still has days that it is closed up randomly. let it be and I'm sure it will be fine.

I feel you, last night I was going to take some pictures but the crab and bristle star had other ideas right as i go to clean the glass the crab walks over my zoas and toadstool. my bristle stars make my anemone mad:rolleyes: its always that one coral or fish or crab that will tik every thing off.

in the end Just used some old ones. Is that a rose anemone?

Honestly, I have had better luck getting named pieces from high end online vendors or from people on this forum. That doesnt look like a colorado sunburst anemone to me tbh which cost around $800+

Yeah, I dont know exactly what it is but it was not $800 LOL

It was $270, I believe they wanted $300 for it so got a few bucks off. Its pretty large, so I think the price was okay.

I mean, it was expensive, but I am not sure on how everything gets priced. Just dont wannt get taken for a ride. lol

Im nervous! LOL

I currently dont quarantine, which I know is a scary thing. I only go to one LFS where I purchase fish and coral for now.

I would need to read how to make sure no bad things enter my tank when buying online.

Last night I noticed that the damsel, clown, and tang were looking at something at the back of the tank. I thought it was very interesting and I have been joking around and calling them a “gang”.

Not in an aggressive way but it seems that all the fish in the tank even the blenny swim together and seem to be in harmony. Which is of course great.

Anyways, so I see them and it looks like they’re looking at something so I walk up closer and I see that they are all saying hello to my new Ruby dragnet, Lucy. Here is a photo of that sorry for the quality.

Everything has been doing well! Well... except Lucy, the ruby dragonet has gone MIA its been over a week since we have seen her. :'( We think she died somehow, we are pointing fingers towards, Hercules our large emerald crab.

We went to the store and they finally had the flame hawkfish I have been wanting!! I also purchased a lil urchin. Tested the waters... was low on calcium, alk, and magnesium so purchased things to dose. We also got two monte corals to add to our collection. Now we are up to 9 corals. ;Smug

If you do not all ready have one, maybe the most cost-effective means to improve your coral photography is to get a lens filter kit. Something like this would work fine.
