Thanks for sharing the chart. I'd seen it previously but didn't remember it until just now. As it stands it comes in handy.I found this and would like to keep it so if anyone wants a “is the fish compatible chart”
here you go!

How are the water parameters coming?
It's hard to go slow when you first start but trust me, take your time and go slowly. Enjoy the process. Good luck to both of you going forward. You joined a great family. Tons of experience and reliable advice on these pages.
How are your phosphates and nitrate levels? I found the only way to keep those dinos in check is keeping these levels upUpdate !
So… had some kind of Dino outbreak.
I made a thread about it:
What is this growing in my tank?
Please help a newb out! so we had some of this on the sand bed and I was told by the LFS that my emerald crabs would munch on it. I thought it was an “ugly phase” but I’m not sure and the corals I have aren’t as full and lush as they were just a week ago. It hasn’t gone away and to be honest...www.reef2reef.com
I got some good advice and went dark until Thursday night while dosing bacteria.
The tank looks much much better!
I just posted another update with all my levels. How are your phosphates and nitrate levels? I found the only way to keep those dinos in check is keeping these levels up
Looks great . The only thing I would try changing is getting phosphates above 0More updates. Yesterday went to the LFS store. Had our water tested.
Salinity: 1.027
Alk: 8
Nitrate: 10
Cal: 400
Phos: 0
Since water was looking good we picked up more fish and things!
10 snails
5 nassarius snails
1 clown fish
1 diamond goby
1 Colorado
Heres some not so good photos

But this depends what kit they’re using to test .
do yourself the biggest favour and invest in a few quality test kits
I’d personally recommend
Hanna :ulr phosphorus
Hanna : alkalinity
Salifert : mag , cal , nitrates ,
salinity : choose one device whether it’s refractometer or conductivity meter
sometimes using multiple devices will give different results
Thank you! I am really loving this tank.looks like all is progressing well
A refractometer is great .Thank you! I think the LFS uses API, I think thats what I have seen them use. They had some other larger mechanical device that was out commission.
I put the two Hanna testers in my cart. When I was looking it all up before I was seeing that they were in the ~$200 range!? SO, it was out of my price range for now....
BUT I see that both the Hanna checkers are in the ~$50 each range, and I think thats acceptable! Currently I have API so I will use what I have until its done then I will buy the Salifert.
I currently have a refractometer, and have no intentions on replacing until it breaks LOL
