Hi. Have nano tank. 2clowns 1pajama cardinal. 1 bandi cardinal. Was over run with aptaisia. So no option but to remove rock kill them all. Now all well fish ok filtration is working skimmer doing job. Problin with lots brown on sand. Can u help. No corals at present.

I guess you are dealing with a new cycle because you have killed a lot of bacteria by removing the rocks. Get yourself a test kit for ammonia and nitrite and monitor the situation. The brown stuff is probably some algae like you have encountered during the setup of your tank.

could be diatoms aswell: picture needed

Would u recommend. Clean up crue or something to keep sand turning. So not to up set fish two much.
