I understand the theory and practice of ozone and ORP control. What is confusing me is trying to get an understanding of what reasonable settings & run time are. Some people seem to run it more or less 24/7 and some people say they run it 10 minutes per day. The unit has a control knob with 0-10. On a 350g system volume, what kind of setpoint can I expect to end up, closer to 1 or closer to 10? For example I might run it at setpoint 3 running 24/7, or might run it at set point 7 for ten minutes a night? Or at set point 2 for 10 minutes a night? Or run it at set point 10 24/7? I know each tank is different and it needs to be controlled by ORP but I'm just trying to get a ballpark understanding of what is a reasonable expectation. ORP probes are not the most accurate/reliable things in the world so having an understanding of what is reasonable is a good safety net.
