Pale not bleached acropora?

I've checked for bugs none that I can see a few months ago I had few pcs that appeared tO have bite marcks I never confirmed I dipped several frags and tossed a bunch to be sure still no sighns of bugs. My alk was swinging between 7-10 very slowly but that's big swing I've had it dialed in at 9 for 2-3 weeks but not seeing the improvement I'd like in color
Am I not giving it enough time ?

7-10 is a big swing and a couple of weeks of stability is very short. You need months of consistency. Some will look better sooner than others of course.

Feed more or cut the lighting down a little. I run 4 T5's over a 40 breeder and it is light aplenty.

I've been feeding pretty heavy light r running 5 hrs now that's on low side I guess I could try 4 hrs I guess
What u guys think
Or just leave things be patient
