hey guys just wondering if my par levels are in check or close..

i tested with my local reef clubs meter.. and i have a 72 bow front tank with 2 120w DIY led units with 90degree optics about 6 inches off water level..

im getting 100-150 par at sand bed almost everywhere, 200-275 middle tank, 300-375 upper part of tank and right under the water surface im getting about 400-450 is this good?

thanks in advance

PAR Meters generally report less than actual.

Without knowing which LEDs you have its hard to say but you're close.

I measured 45 Cree XT-E driven at 700mA or 120 watts total and got over 400 at 24" in air. Water would reduce this by 20-30%

I have seen similar levels posted by people whose tanks look amazing so..... I think your good. Placement of specimens is such an easier game when you know your playing field ;)
