I’m looking for a par meter, but don’t want to spend over $100 dollars for one. What is a great Pat meter for under that (I’m assuming there isn’t one that cheap, but you never know)? Also what would be a great way to borrow/rent one (none of my friends have one)?

Check out your local LFS. They may have one you can borrow or rent. Some local reef clubs do the same thing

I agree! Also check out BRS, they used to rent one, and they also used to have a deal where you can buy a used one basically, then return it up to 3 months later and they refund all but $40 or something like that.

Facebook groups are another great place to check. I have a guy in my area that will come over and measure your tank with his meter for a fee.
