Any interest in the club adding a par meter to our list of available items to check out.?
 
I would definitely be interested. It's come up before and didn't go far as I remember.

Apogee makes a popular model specifically for reef tanks.

Although it's not really possible to compare values from tank to tank, given the range of variables, I personally think a par meter would be invaluable for discerning critical information within any given tank, and throughout its light cycle.
