PAR Phone App

I was looking online for a solution to cheaply measure PAR and came across this: https://growlightmeter.com/underwater-par-measurements-for-reef-aquariums/

Essentially it is a cell phone app which claims to be within 7% of a difference to a $500 Apogee PAR meter. Any one use this before? Thoughts?
