Hello.

I have 2 radion x15 pro g6 and I’m looking for par ratings at 100% on schedule and intensity for 8-10” mounted about the tank.
My tank is 120g at 24” deep. I’m running the ab+ schedule at 65% schedule at the moment. No new algae growth but I want to find what the actual par ratings are for 2 lights as I don’t have a par meter myself. I’m planning to have a mixed tank leaning to sps dominant and running kz for dosing. ULN system only 6 months old. Any help on the lighting much would be appreciated.

No way 2 of those lights are enough for SPS. Maybe 4 would work but 3 XR30s are better. I run 2 XR15s on my 65g DT and at 100% intensity I barely get 350par just below the water line. Mine are gen 5 with diffusers. They are weak lights.

Ok I’ll have to get a couple more before I put sps in the tank
I was actually shocked when I finally par checked mine at 70% intensity. It was like 150 at the top of a 22 inch deep tank and like 30 on the sandbed. I slowly cranked up to 100% intensity and am able to grow SPS at the top but I can tell a few acros still need more light then I have. There are quite a few video with nice 125g tanks and 4 radion lights though.

IM 25 Lagoon, single G6 XR15 Blue. Has better light spread than previous gen, and is growing sps like crazy. At 12 inch below water surface the par is 150 with only 45% schedule intensity using default AB+ schedule, and that spread is 20” radius on the bed.

I would use at least three XR15 on a 125. And, from what I heard from Reef Therapy, two XR15 spread a couple inches apart make better par than a single XR30.
