PBT Velvet ?

These pics were taken at 5:27 am this morning. Noticed these bumps almost immediately after adding new wavemaker last night so I figured they were mucus cones from the change in flow or something. But it was a worse this morning. Checked salinity and saw it was at 1.011 (fish are in hypo) so I did a quick top off and got it back to 1.010.
Two hours later at 7:12am fish looks like this


Fish is still picking at nori clip , prefers to be in direct flow. Does this look like velvet or ich reappearing after salinity creeped back up? If this is velvet, what’s the procedure for getting the fish from 1.010 salinity to a tank with copper ? Will update with pics on lunch , any insight is appreciated.

I will also add that the fish looked close to perfect 2 days ago about a week into the hypo treatment

Based on the size and location of dots, this ich. You will need to place fish in Quarantine tank and treat with Coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.25 for a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored with a Hanna Brand copper test kit- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone. All other fish in with it should also be removed as they have also been exposed to the parasites and placed in quarantine tank.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off. Inverts and coral can remain in the display (not treatment) tank during fallow period.
A quarantine tank can be as simple as a tank from a second hand store, a Rubbermaid type tub or a starter kit from Walmart which most of the needed essentials.

For certain the spots are not velvet, they are ich. Now, fish can have multiple infections at the same time, but velvet symptoms are rapid breathing and not eating, so likely this is just ich.

The problem with hyposalinity for ich is that the target needs to be 1.009 but no lower. Sometimes, 1.010 will work, but not always.

I think the difference in color of the skin is due to the ich trophonts dying when you lowered to 1.010 - but I’m not 100% on that.

I can't tell what type of Tank this is but looks like a lot of flow in the video. You don't want it too strong because it causes the Fish to expend a lot of energy while they are trying to fight a Pathogen.
