just a few days ago my peach hammer just retraced its polyps i believe and now its looking like this. i’m not sure if this means it’s growing or if it’s dying? or even bleaching. all my water parameters are stable and every other coral is doing good except for this hammer. (i’ll show a before as well) one photo was taken at night time too, hasn’t been moved at all

How long have you had it?
How much flow is it getting?
In the third photo, I notice all of your other corals are closed up to, is this at night or during the day as well?

it was during night time/lights out that’s why and i had just fed them , it’s not getting direct flow but enough for the wall hammer to be fine on the bottom, i’ve had the tank for about 1 year and 4 months now, also one branch looks like it has 2 mouths so does that mean anything?

If you've had it for a year and 4 months, did it never grow another polyp? Its always been 2 polyps? That gives me an impression that its not getting enough light, after this much time you should have a few new polyps.

no no i mean i had the tank for 1 year the hammer i had for almost 2 weeks now

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
