Pearlberry or upscales microclados, something else?

So the coral that was sold to me as pearlberry' might not be. At a one inch frag it's hard to tell. I never really gave it another thought. But it was recently pointed out to me that it looks way more like "upscales microlados". Any thoughts.

It definitely has the same green.

I have found that real pearlberry often doesn't look like pearlberry till it grows out a bit. It can be very green for a while. Once good growing tips are produce you will start seeing the token pealberry pearly if you will.

Upscale microlados has purple corallites. Yours does not appear to have that. It's unlikely you have a microlados. As for pearlberry, there are a few pieces out there that are very similar and sold as Pearlberry. Also, pearlberry can vary greatly in color from one tank to the next.

It is probably something else. People who sell look-a-likes as the real coral are usually doing so with no-name or generic corals. If it was upscales micro, then it likely would have been sold as such. The no-names can be quite beautiful. We have a lot of fake Pearlberry around here - I would not buy one unless you can see the colony that it came from since there is no mistaking it for anything else.
