For all you IM 20 Peninsula lovers out there, this one’s for you. Or for that matter, any of you nano (probably under 40 gal) peninsula tank owners out there, this one's sort of for you too.

This is for my LPS dominant and some softies mixed tank. It’s been up for 1 year and 9 months. There’s always been a lot of shadowing with the one AI Prime I’ve been running, so I borrowed a par meter and found, as suspected, there was a pretty steep drop off in par at the far ends of the tank. So, it was time to upgrade and add a second AI Prime!

Here’s the parts, the setup, pics and par readings (coming soon!) in the tank with the old setup and the new setup. The light settings have been per BRS’s recommended settings for a tank of similar size. It’s the setting I’ve been running since I setup the tank and it’s worked well. I simply adjusted intensity with a two finger swipe on the AI Primer app to take into consideration two lights now rather than one. The target was LPS par readings between 75-150 throughout the tank. Here you go!

How long did it take you to build that mount? By the way, it looks great!

Thanks! I really like how it turned out. Took a few weeks of me figuring out what hardware to get, but once I had everything it was pretty quick and easy. Maybe a couple hours. The most nerve wracking part was drilling the stand!

Thanks for sharing looking good. Perfect for what i was looking for. I will be doing a swap from WB20 to Fiji 38 penisula in the coming weeks . Had to get longer pieces of aluminum for this tank but the idea stays the same.
