People Bashing??

It seems as tho everyday ,we have more people bashing going on here.Name calling because we don't agree with an asking price on craiglist,or publicly bashing someones corals and prices...I liked it better when we keep our negativity to ourselves.

if ur talking about the ones that make joke at the people on CL selling systems for 950 that are worth 200 i think its fine to do that. It makes us here as a reef family know that we are doing our best to keep prices down and it gets a laugh or two seeing these people selling stuff for wayyyyy over board prices. I agree personal attacks in threads are stupid(i have had this happen to me numerous times) but as far as people bashing on cl ads its not so much bashing the person as it is getting a good laugh at the asking price

Rationalize it as you will,but if she wants $950 for a piece of live rock that is her business and I hope she gets it.If she wants to give away a full set up for $0 that is also her business .Neither action make her crazy or stupid or any other name you want to call her.

What is the difference between bashing forum members and bashing people on CL? It is pretty immature either way.

It's petty to call people out, I agree. If I were actively trying to learn something from this forum lately, it would pretty much be about what not to ask or do. If you are giving feedback from a purchase or trade, that's a different story.

its sad we even have to have this thread. i guess you would just hope that most people would keep their negative thoughts to themselves. and i would never personally attack someone or leave nasty comments on the site theres just no reason for it.
for those of you that need this ........come on people grow up and lets just leave it at that and have fun with reefing thats what its supposed to be anyway, isnt it?

+1 i think there is a BIG difference from people bashing to laughing at crazy craigslist things. I mean come on now if we cant have a laugh in that, then what can we laugh at? That was harmless and NO one was hurt:horse: bc shes not on these sites, and if she was well then we would have just helped her out bc she now knows her prices is nuts! :hammer:

Thanks ,she turned out to be a beauty,one of my better babies from a litter of 6.I would tell you how much she sold for but someone might think it was "crazy" hahaha
