Could be worse. My LFS was asking $1500 the evening before it came out.

Edit, my LFS let me know they had an offer at that amount when I inquired about price, I’m merely assuming that they were inviting a higher bid from me.

I agree with this. I think it's in poor taste that others can mock and call people idiots for purchasing something they themselves couldn't afford.
