Super happy with my peppermint shrimp(PS)!!
I was told 1 out of 3 PS will eat aptasia and I had a big problem. It seemed every LFS was out of PS expect one who found one hiding in a lagoon tank. Took him home and noticed over night some of my aptasia has diapered. In one month he cleared all my aptasia except 2 or three on my back glass. Maybe waiting till they spread to eat again. Anyways here’s the rocks the was being held back by aptasia.

and after my PS cleaned it all up my zoas were able to grow fast!!!

I recently did this as well. I was surprised at how quickly the patch of zoas one of them grew up in spread back out. It was like there was a hole in them where the aptasia was, and just a few days later it's like there was nothing ever going on.

Also they seem to be much more behaved than my cleaner shrimp, while also carrying out the role of scavenging any missed food. Plus they don't bug my fish.

Big fan.

Congratulations with your success on this in my opinion not to be rude this is one in a million I've never had them do anything but pic on my corals burgio nudibranchs have been the only thing to work for me I've tried peppermint shrimp filefish pretty much every so-called Predator they have and none worked other than the new nudibranchs so again congratulations on your success I'm happy this worked out for you happy reefing best wishes
