I am in the process doing rest tests, I will post soonWhat are the other parameters in your tank? Can you post some pictures? Where is it located?
what the heck, how did it happen !!What are the other parameters in your tank? Can you post some pictures? Where is it located?
IMO, it is very unlikely that the pH (7.2) is accurate.
How are you measuring it? When did you last calibrate the probe? how did you calibrate it?
Hanna checker ,digital
Calibrated before the test
Tested few times in row
What is the time from of that pH graph?
7 is correct, I am testing readings with hanna checkerThis is a lit reef aquarium? It correctly reads pH 7 and 10 standards?
It just looks like noise to me. I think there may be a fundamental problem. pH in any reef tank cycles day to night, rather than skipping randomly up and down. Photosynthesis during the day raises pH, and it falls at night due to respiration but yours was at one point rising all night.

the 10 spike was an error, I removed the probe from the tank.
yes it is a small tank
yes, I did.You have calibrated it at pH 7 AND 10?
What do you mean ?The pH vs time graph just doesn't have the look of a reef aquarium, whether the pH is low or not.
Dear Randy Holmes Farley, I know this is an post and I don't have an Apex controller. I just tested my water and using a Hannah Alkalinity checker my KH is 7.2 and using the API my PH is 7.6. @ 11:00 A.M. EST. It's the middle of winter here in Cincinnati OH and extremely cold outside so opening the windows is not an option. I have an Avast Kalk stirrer and I had previously hooked it up to my ATO and it was a disaster KH rose to 15 and melted my zoas just frags but not good. The aquarium is an Innovative Marine 100-gallon Reef Complete system. A friend said that I should possibly use a dosing pump to raise KH and PH? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.pH vs time graphs look like this graph (yellow line). Up/down/up/down, every day up/down. The size of the swing may change and the absolute values change, but the shape is always similar. Yours does not seem to be having this normal trend.
