After drooling over everyone else's tanks, I figured it was time to share my little reef with you guys. I'm not the best photographer and don't have the best camera, so forgive the image quality.
I know my collection is no where near what most of you guys and girls have, but I think it's coming along OK. If anybody can help with the identification of any of these, please do so!

That is how I had originally intended to hang them. But before I mounted them, I decided to hook them up and test the light spread on the floor. So I got two chairs and and a 4' piece of 1x1 lumber and rigged the fixture to the approximate height off of the floor that it would be above my sand bed. It seemed to have better coverage side to side than it did end to end.

I am in a 55 Gal., which is approx. 48" x 12.5" or something. So,that means each light is covering a 24" x 12.5" space. I felt that having the lights hung like I do, I would get better coverage of the tank and not so much spilling out the front glass onto the floor.

It also makes for a much cleaner look having the cords dissapear behind the tank instead of meeting in the middle or sticking out both ends.
