It's in a 60g shallow 48-24-12H


Under a 8bilb ati if I move it from the sand bed idk if it will get burnt . I wonder what the par is suppose to be for this monti.

If it can Indur nice light I will move it up for now it's been recovering slowly but it's getting there.

Hey thanks for the frags you won and gave me I cant be more happy. Do you have any frags of the monti I can buy or trade if you would like. I have a bunch of montis or zoas PM me and let me know what you think SPS to but I think you have most of the stuff I have :)
 
Any updates on this coral? I won a piece from Live Aquaria last November off of a FaceBook contest. Mine has been growing, but super slow. All my other monti's have taken over my tank. I can try and post an updated photo of it soon. But this is when I first got it. Now it has almost covered the plug.

I saw a live aquaria piece and the polps are not that blue. To me it wasn't blue at all. Then again that was my observation. I have a true phoenix piece and the polyps are blue to light blue pending light.
