The Blue Spotted Tamarin Wrasse is not commonly seen within the marine aquarium hobby. This beautiful species will grow to be about 14 inches in length, so they will need substantial swimming space. Use caution if adding to a reef aquarium because the Blue Spotted Tamarin Wrasse is known to nip at Tridacna Clams. Providing a habitat with a deep sand bed is preferred because they will dig into it when stressed or sleeping. In house, we are feeding this species a mix of our Nutramar Live Artemia (brine shrimp) and Nutramar Complete Pellets to provide a varied diet. Read more here

Wow interesting i just picked up one from harrys the other day because i had never seen one. I replaced my red coris because he kept filpping my frags on rack, sometimes 20 frags flipped and some dead acros had me over him lol. All the info i find doesn't say anything about flipping rocks fingers crossed but plenty accounts of inverts killing. Its small so i hope ill have plenty of juvenile time before it turns into a invert killing machine.

Great find, we definitely recommend a lid as they can be jumpers! We also recommend providing live food multiple times per day if the tank is not established with copepods until they are conditioned to prepared foods!
