I'm getting a message that my uploaded photo is too big yet it doesn't tell me what the limitation is. I've tried searching with different keywords but can't find the answer. What size do we need to stay under?

What is the size of the file that you are attempting to upload?

3.95 MB, 4000 x 6000 pixels. I know it's too big for a forum, but on most forums when you upload an image too big it will tell you what the max is. I'd rather keep it as high quality as possible.

Does no one know the answer? Is it top secret? Is that why it’s not listed anywhere on the forum?

My photos will not upload either, even after compression. Very frustrating. Photos taken with my phone are not good enough quality to show the tank so I use my DSLR but I suppose I can't share those either :(

I found that I have to down size photos pretty regularly. Pretty normal for most forums I find.
