Piared clownfish agression

I have had a pair of black storm clownfish for 6 months now and it seems as if they go through Phases of where the female clownfish will just constantly attack the male And I have tried to use a breeder box for a few days and that didn't work if you have any advice please tell me thank you.

It’s a common thing that a pair will go through. Sometimes they are just two fish that go along and hung out together, so they get sold as a pair. As they mature, the female changes her mind about her punk husband, and she decides that he’s not suitable for procreation purposes. She will kill him if she comes to that conclusion.

Keep a sharp eye on them and be ready to rescue him from her wrath if she finds him unsuitable.

Otherwise, his purpose in life is to put up with whatever she dishes out. This is how life is.

Sounds like you added two clown fish which does not make a pair. They'll have to figure out who is going to transition to female. That can be smooth, some aggression but I have seen it lead to death. I hate that stores sell 2 male clowns and call them a pair. I like to add a single and let it transition to female then add a male. Unfortunately many people don't have the patience or the LFS says just add two and they'll figure it out, which they usually do but often it is stressful to watch. When I have added two at once I picked the largest meanest one out of a group at the LFS then went to another store and bought the smallest most docile one and added it and it was smooth sailing.
