Picked up a nice little gem today

Nice one you have there. I only have one chalice in my tank right now. I never got into the whole chalice craze, but I wouldn't pass some up to see how they grow, especially some of the nicer colored ones. Congrats on the pickup.

they look very close together-is that the permanent location and if so are you concerned about 1 stinging the other? I wouldn't want to lose or damage either colony. Some of my chalice have sweepers that are easily 4+ inches.

That is going to be a sweet chalice! Can you take a pic under blue light only? I want to see it fluoresce.

Very nice!
The picture makes it look like it has a curved growth to it. Kind of like how a dinner plate gets just alittle bit higher on the edges.
Is it like that or just the picture? Or just me?

It's hard to tell from the pic but the chalice is about 4 inches lower that the strawberry patch watermelon so no chance of getting stung, although I did move the chalice to the sand bed in a shaded area. What I really like about this chalice is the orange and green stripes! The center has a lot going on too with pink, blue, purple and red. Lighting is a 10x54W ATI fixture with 6 KZ super blue, 3 KZ new gen and two Fiji bulbs. It is a disc shaped chalice. I'll look at it tonight and see if the color has improved and might post a new pic or two.
