Here is an LPS from years ago.

Hammer coral About 6 months after I got it. Clown and 1 1/2" hippo tang for reference.

a few years later, right before I pulled it from the tank because it was getting too big.

Outside of the tank, you can see the growth formation much better.

Here is a closeup of the side of the coral. You can see the tissue goes down the side of the skeleton about three inches.

That's crazy!

This Jade Dragon started as a single coralite last June. It is growing pretty well be a sweeper caught a little at the bottom. Healing up now.

That's awesome that you can take a small frag from a lfs and tun it into that, it makes responsible reefers cool good!
