Here’s mine of parts of both my tanks, you will realise they were focused on the fish more but there are coral behind most of them (Not some much the BSLW but hey, I may aswell take the chance to add a photo of her).
My coral Dont really show when they’re going to bed they only show when they are “tucked up”. My fish do show when they’re going to bed because the wrasse tend to scour the rock and sand for places to sleep. The foxface just goes behind the tank (Sometimes even right up against the glass) and changes colour which is for sure a sight to behold even when I have seen it multiple times already. The tang just vanishes and then swims through out the rock to find his perfect sleeping spot, the CBB and Angelfish just hover in the water column to sleep (They do sometimes hug the rock for safety).
My Scott’s fairy wrasse tends to be visible when he sleeps so in the early morning he tends to be a face poking out from a small crevice in the rock.
