I am new here - from Australia...

Looking at coming back to the hobby (sure you've heard this story before) after about 10 years. Used to have a 10foot tank but new house = smaller set-up.

Looking at UNS R120 (let me know if there are better tanks around now similar size).

If you had this tank, bearing in mind the space in the cabinet (with not a huge amount of space outside), how would you spec it up equipment wise if money was no barrier.... Lights, pumps, controllers, chiller (I live in QLD in Australia where it gets quite hot), heaters etc.

Live on canals with easy access to Mooloolaba (look it up - amazing) and the Pacific Ocean (wait is NSW still a thing ?). Always gravitated to SPS with my old tank - do love a good stick.

Any advice (or criticisms) welcome

Michael

I looked up Mooloolaba. You're right, it is very nice there.

Are you directly on one of the canals?

Very nice!

And to answer your question about NSW; yes, it's still a thing. Depending on the water there, I'd give it a go.

Nice boat mate ! Natural sea water is definitely still a thing i collect my own and lots of aussie reefers that i know of do the same. As long as you are collecting away from a polluted source you should be fine. I collect mine off of the local pier.
