One of these days you'll start posting some updates, you know, to keep them organized. 😉

Water change day, tanks looking good today my 24k gold torch was sulking yesterday but after this waterchange has puffed right back up again. Have added my first sps to the tank. A vibrant green anacropora. Was sold to me as green goblin anacropora. Also have added a nice little frag of golden chalice and a few zoas (not sure if gmk or adonis). Trying to decide on the next resident of the tank. My wife wants a flame hawk. I told her they get too big and they would eat the shrimp from the pistol shrimp goby pair i want to add when one becomes available.
Also trying to source a decent lid for the aquarium. My home made one isnt quite cutting it at the moment.

Lovely little nano. I’ve got my 25 gallon up and going now. Definitely feel that for nanos that 25-30 gallons is a sweet spot. And yes @That Crusso Kid has rapidly become a R2R buddy. He’s the fella that made my 2 media trays and I love em. So are you sticking to softies and LPS or are you planning some SPS down the road?

Well you could always get someone to take responsibility the order and then ship it out to you

We were R2R acquaintances before I pulled my 3 year disappearing act. However, I am now honored that you have upgraded me to a buddy. I wonder what it's going to take to make the leap to friend. If it's anything like what I am thinking, I have to let you know that I don't do those kinds of things.

And there you have it. A great reason to pack up and move to the good 'ol US of A. (Truth be told, I do not think I would want to leave Australia either.)

Anyways, here is a place that makes lids in Australia. No experience with them, obviously, but maybe their worth a little digging into and a phone call. You could also create a post, on R2R, asking if anyone has ever dealt with them.

So today was a pretty great day, clear sunny sky, nice temperature in the high 80s and my lfs got a coral shipment in.

As soon as i got off work today i made straight for my lfs, one of the employees there by the name of Thomas had set aside some frags feom his own tank.

A nice sized frag of montipora digitata, bubble gum variety. A furry green acropora and a white blue acropora that i am fascinated by.

Too bad ive had some unexpected expenses this week otherwise id have bought a lot more.

When i arrived home there was a packaged waiting for me. The reefdose 4 that i had ordered over a month ago go here.

So a beer or two later im sitting here just enjoying my tank.

So today i experienced the necessity of a lid. While doing some maintenance i left the lid off of my tank while i was out of the room.

Came back to find a semi dried clownfish on the floor.

I put her back in so fingers crossed i wasnt too late. She is breathing at right now but not swimming.

Will update after work and see how shes doing.
