I disassembled my skimmer to clean the pump and discovered this little thing. Anyone have an idea what this could be?

Those insects infest your house, not your tank. One probably fell in a few minutes before you opened your skimmer. Your tank is safe, but you might want to check your house for anymore, and call pest control if you find a large infestation.

That makes sense because I removed the skimmer and immediately went outside to disassemble and clean. Thanks again
