from looks of pics, Tank appears quite new. Not a good first specimen but not the end of the world. What is salinity, temp and what type of light are you using?
Salinity should be 1.025-1.026, with moderate flow and this anemone does under low white and high blue lighting and is ornamental than a host clown.
I feel Katrina stamping her feet so we will get you thru the road to a happy nem. Doesn't look bad in pics but generally a perky nem

Let's say the op is totally unprepared for this type of obstacle...best way to contain the nem for transport back to the LFS?

I'm also questioning that substrate. It's very bright white and sparkly like sugar grains...something I've never seen used in a saltwater aquarium before.

My personal opinion is if it's a painted decoration then leave it out of a saltwater aquarium as the majority of them are for freshwater use only.

Going to be blunt you clearly have no idea what you're doing.

Theres 1 hermit crab painted shell in the tank, and who knows if theres anymore.

The sand you're using looks like the completely wrong.

I feel bad for that 1 fish and you're anemone. Please do some research before getting into this hobby, these are living animals not toys. From what I see I can imagine the suffering these animals are enduring.
