I bought a pink leather toadstool the other day but it doesn't look pink at all like it did at the store. So now I'm wondering if they gave me the wrong one or there's something really wrong with my water? thanks

Could you show us a picture? What lighting is it under? Lighting tends to change the colors of some corals alot.
Hope this helps. I'm using quad t5 ho

Unfortunately this is a part of our hobby. The toadstool they sent you is a pink toadstool. The picture on their site is a toadstool that doesn’t exist except in the digital world.

I’d reach out to them to see how they can make it right. No one would ever keep corals under the color light you’d need to make it that color.

I think you got duped. The photo was most likely photoshopped. You still have a nice healthy coral though. Next time buy from more reputable vendors such as world wide corals.
