I have gained a big liking for pipefish recently, and was considering one for my 20g tank (I seed with pods every week and it has been up for a year - The rocks are 10+ years old). I have a griessingers goby and they’re rather small so they mainly eat pods, my question is will the pipefish outcompete a griessingers for food?

I would have gone with a ruby dragonet however, they take up the same area that the griessingers takes. Also if they can be housed together (Griessingers and Pipefish) which species do you recommend, and what coral can they and can they not be with?
I’m already avoiding anemones of all kinds, and LPS/Softies with VERY sticky tentacles.
