Hey all! I am interested in getting a pistol shrimp (and shrimp goby) for my aquarium first when it is finished cycling and wanted to get folks advice on their care and an answer to a question -

do they have to have rubble to build nests with a goby? My tank currently just has fiji pink sand for substrate and I was worried they might not build nests.

If I put a handful of rubble in one spot, would they likely dig where the rubble is and build there?

I'm also worried they just go hide in the back and Ill never see them or the goby if they pair up.

I've attached a photo of my tank for folks to see and advise. I'd like for them to build under the front rock.

Thanks all!!!

There going to move where they like, they could move to the front or the back of the tank. You placing rubble rock in a area you would like could help but its no guarantee there going to set up there.
