Gotta watch him around small frags he will drag em off. But they are awesome. I love watching em. My tiger pistol is paired with a bonded pair of randalli gobies

Just added Pistol Shrimp to the mated Gobys. Pretty cool! Dude can move some sand. Just dropped him into their little hole they had when lights went out and he’s been going to town ever since. Sorry for bad video quality.

cool fact:

some shrimp gobies cannot mate without the help of a pistol shrimp to create a brood chamber

I love my shrimp! Hasn’t paired with my goby in the 4 months they’ve been together though…
Definitely keep an eye on your corals!

Some pistol shrimp, like the red pistol shrimp are not blind, so they don’t need a goby to guide and protect them.
