Hello, I am in the planning stages of a 240 with a 75 sump underneath. My question is whether or not it is safer to put the tanks along the joists or across the joists? The house was built in 1980. The spot I would like to place it is across joists, but safety is the main the concern. Any input would be great! Thanks

Across as many joists as possible. If your basement is unfinished, go to Home Depot, and get 2 steel jack posts and a 4x4 and put it under your tank as well.
